this model needs to be hooked up to an amplifier for speakers to work..it has no audio amplifier inside...as for the mic's..you'll need to make sure you have the mic inputs that you are using selected in the setup menu..there are the xlr{3 pin} connectors and the 1/4" connectors..check the setup
It's been a while but in DOs you need two drivers to acess a CD drive. One is a a generic driver loaded by your autoexec called MSCDEX.EXE. That should look something like
LOADHIGH=X:\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD001
The next one you will need is the specific driver for the drive. For an LG I think it is gscdrom.sys So for this you need an entry in your config.sys that looks like the following.
