Blaupunkt Santa Fe DCM 42 cassette radio. I bought a boat with this radio included however the previous owners are deceased and no one else knows the 4 digit code. Is there a way to change the code so that we can use the radio and cd changer?

SOURCE: Blaupunkt 420. I have security

Hi there

Press the SRC button to begin setting a four-digit security code, then select the "All Off" display. Press "Menu" for 1 second. "Security" will be displayed. Press the > arrows for 1 second. "Code" will be displayed.

Press the > arrows to select the first digit of the security code. Press the FM/AM button to lock in the digit chosen.

Repeat Step 2 for the each of the other digits of the security code.

Confirm the security code by pressing the >> arrow for at least 3 seconds. "Re-enter" will be displayed, and then "Code." Re-enter the security code by carrying out steps 2-3. When done, "Approved" will be displayed and the security code will be activated.

SOURCE: Have Blaupunkt Cd changer attached

turn it on after turning on the motor ...and press the AS(or turn on cd player pressing this button on ) and hold to enter the code..or ..if you are already at that part the trick is that it has only 4 number buttons each button is assigned to one digit in the code..
ex for the first digit the number one as many times as the digit is ..
to type 2468 for example press no 1 for 2 times..the no 2 for 4 times ..and so on ..
each time you press a position it will be the number needed in that position ...
I hope I didnt made a mess with your senses....

My 2002 mazda mvp ausio system is not working but I can insert and eject the CD but cannot do the in tape cassette also the display is not showing the clock or any thing plz any one tell me whats wrong...

Internal board damage. Also the ribbon cable for the soft load on the cassette is not engaging. This can happen due to just ware from the age of the unit. Cold solder joints are usually the culprit, that is why the display will not light. Check yards for a newer used deck it just might be easier unless you have a shop you can send it to.

Car radio not turning off when the car is turn off

This has to do with the way the radio is wired. It's best to go into a motor-mechanics or car-audio shop to have them wire it correctly

Fm works, am does not

Check the antenna connection. A poor connection will often be good enough for FM but make AM reception so bad the the radios auto-gain circuits will mute the output unlike old AMs that would just produce loud static in poor signal conditions.

How unlock anti theft stock deck

You should have a look at the owners manual, where the code almost sure is... Or maybe a card from the radio.
It will help if you put the car and radio model...

All you can do is trace the wiring back from the radio to the speakers, there is no quick fix here. To test the speakers touch a battery to the two contacts, the speaker will pop if it is any good.
