Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200 Digital Camera
My camera got wet and I managed to dry it out and also recharge the battery successfully. The camera will turn on, but the lens doesn't open and the only thing showing on the screen is USB Mode; I can access a folder, but can't get into it. What is the trick here since the memory and battery are still in tact, just can't do anything? Help!
Mine did the same thing last night. I was cleaning mine with a cotton swap and alcohol, in the usb port.
After I got back home, I hooked it up to the usb cable and turned it on. Computer detected the camera as normal. Turned it off and unplugged it. Turned it back on and all was normal.
Communicating with the computer un-confused the camera.
