I have a Touch and Sew Model #648 and the feed dog broke. I purchased a new one but can seem to get the two little screws out. Is there something I can do to get them out?

I sprayed the little screws with liquid wrench and got the end of a small screwdriver tip and turned it with a plyers. you see the screws are right under the needle and the clearance is very tight. thanks for asking

First try leaving a few drops of penetrant (PB Blaster or WD-40)on each screw letting it soak in overnight. Then using as short of a screwdriver ,with the best fit to the screw, as you can fit under there put it in the screw head, push down hard and turn the screwdriver with a pliers. This should break them loose.
