Question about Relisys TL775 17" LCD Monitor
Basically, the problem is that the menu (the one where u can choose brightness, contrast, screen size and all that stuff) is showing up all of a sudden, as if someone was pressing the buttons, someting like "ghost commands" or whatever you may call it... Since it was really annoying me, I just pressed button "2" for a few seconds, but, now, the message "OSD LOCK" keeps on flashing on my screen - again, as if someone was trying to open up monitor settings. I have tried lots of suggestions, such as trying to see if any button was stuck, updating drivers, but all of these had unsuccessful results, and "OSD LOCK" screen is still there, in front of my screen. So, any help would be really appreciated.

If the butttons are not stuck on these monitors it could be something as simple as dry joints on the monitor somewhere. When this happens again lightly tap the front where the buttons are without pressing any and the sides then finally the back. If any of this tapping causes the menu to suddenly disappear and reappear then its dry joints. Otherwise it could be a number of problems. Post if it does not work and I will tell you more. Good luck.

Tips for a great answer:
Feb 10, 2013 | Gateway HD2201 22" LCD Monitor
You can adjust the
brightness and contrast of your monitor to improve the readability of text and
to make digital pictures appear more like they'll look when printed.
To improve the results
when adjusting the brightness and contrast settings for your display, use
Display Color Calibration. (Display Color Calibration helps you adjust these
color settings and others.) For more information about calibrating your display
color in Windows,
see Calibrate your display.
The way you adjust
brightness and contrast varies and depends on your specific display.
Brightness and contrast buttons on the front of the monitor. Some monitors have brightness and contrast
controls on the front and use the standard symbols shown in the following
On-screen menu. You can change the brightness and contrast settings for some
displays by using an on-screen menu, and then setting the brightness and
contrast in the resulting menu. Many times, you can view the on-screen menu by
pressing a button-possibly labeled Menu-on the front of the monitor.
