Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5300 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Printer set up as instructed. When first came on, said paper jam, with no paper yet loaded in printer. Yellow light on on/off button keeps flashing will not stop. Cannot bring up anything when having pushed menu button, no other buttons work, not even cancle. In the little window on printer it keeps saying "please wait." I let it "wait" about an hour--nothing happened.
Cannot find anything to tell me how to fix problem. After reading of all problems people are having with this easyshare 5300, I am beginning to believe I made mistake in purchasing it.
Pushing up on the rollers when there is a non-existant paper jam but a paper jam error will cause damage to the printer in the long run. Do NOT do it.

I just want to let you know! that for fixing that problem you should call tech support and they are going to replace it for a refurbished printer, so for take that error message out you need to:
1. Unplug the printer from the power cord open the rear access door of the printer! and then you will see the roller you need to go on the third roller from left to right and roll it up like six times!,
2. closed the rear acces door and open the front acces door try to move the carriege of the cartridges to the midle!
3. take the cartridges and the printhead out
4. close the acces door plug the printer back in and then it will ask you for the printhead and the cartridges
So you just need to insert them back in! But this time make sure you insert that pritnhead properly because that error message was causing for that printhead in bad possition

Tips for a great answer:
Clearing credit card-sized paper jammed inside the printer
Credit card-sized and 4" x 6" sized paper must be loaded properly. If this media is not loaded properly, it will feed into the printer and will not exit. Credit card-sized paper should only be loaded in the ASF and in portrait orientation. 4" x 6" sized paper can be loaded in the ASF or cassette. But must be loaded portrait orientation.
If credit card-sized paper was loaded in landscape orientation in the ASF and did not eject (exit), please follow this procedure.
