Perhaps the fan motor is bad. If not, you have an electrical problem.

Usually these numbers on most other untits are stamped on a metal plate which is located
or attached to the gas valve, which would also give the BTU Input/Output. Probably the
Model Number as well

How do you convert a remote thermostat to a directly wired digital thermostat to a vulcan powerhouse 100 central heater unit

First, you need to know how many millivolts the Thermopile (aka Pilot Generator) on the the furnace's pilot assembly millvolt terminal. Then you find a wired digital thermostat, that meets the same millivoltage that the Thermopile Generates or has a lower requirement. You have to run millivolt wiring from the furnace's pilot assembly millivolt terminal block (the wiring should be connect to the TH & the TPH terminals, to where you want to place the digital wall thermostat. In most cases, it can not be more that 15' away from the furnace. In other words, no more than 15' of wiring can be involved.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Vulcan Quasar wall furnace, pilot will lit and burner starts but goes out after a few minutes. sometimes pilot will relight but most often fails to light till unit cools down. Any suggestions?

You may need a new thermocouple if you have been able to light it before. It is located above the pilot lite and needs to get hot to keep the gas flowing. You can pick up a universal thermocouple a the local hard ware store.Shut the gas off, unscrew the coupling nut and remove the old one.Bend the the new one like the old one and replace.Try not to kink the new one.Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa.com.

I have a Vulcan Gas wall furnace that is not working. We cannot work out how to light the pilot light. According to the documents we have it is a 26.4MJ model or the 40MJ model

The Quazar manual says....
-Thermostat control knob to 0
-Then press and hold down * (Star) button
-The press the "ignition" button one or more times until the pilot lights
CONTINUE to hold the * button for at least 15 seconds and release slowly making sure the pilot stays lighted.
-If the pilot goes out.. repeats steps above and hold the * button for much longer than 15 seconds and THEN release the * button slowly.

Furnace has a mind of its own

If your thermostat no longer controls your furnace possibly could be the control board in the furnace or a shorted fan relay.

I HAVE AN INTERTHERM FEB-017HAC-04 ELECTRIC FURNACE THAT IS PRODUCING HEAT,BUT THE FAN DOESN'T SEEM TO WANT TO KICK IN. THE BLOWER IS SET TO AUTO.

Probably a time delay relay fan switch not working.
Could be a bad low speed winding in the fan motor.
Set the wall T-stat for ON fan and see if it works.

Vulcan gas wall furnace keeps turning off, and has err f1 on the control panel. Any suggestions? It is Sunday afternoon and about 8 degrees!

No idea what the problem is but - We have a manual vulcan gas wall furnace about 3yrs old and it has always been switching off since installed which is a real bummer on cold days. We had it checked out whilst under warranty but the technician did not fix the problem. Im not sure if it has anything to do with the gas supply but seems more of a product fault. Lucky weve got a combustion stove as well!

Vulcan quasar elite heater does not display led readout or any lights when plugged into power point the point and switched on.

this is not an air conditioner but a fan forced heater. The control unit has died and a replacement is over $170.00 !! It's going to be recycled.
