Take off the top and remove the cable to the heating element that is on the underside of the top.

Cup warmer blows the fuse

This is for sure a short within the unit and also can be related to a leak within the heater unit as this can be the reason that the circuit trips off. So you need to check the continuity to confirm the short.

Cooks coffee maker brews about 2 fewer cups than the amount of water poured in. It does seem to steam excessively. What's going on?

This is called evaporation :P

No but seriously, try to not fill it up more than is needed for the amount of cups you are making at the time, because otherwise you waste electricity anyways.

The more water you put in, the more power it takes to boil it. If you don't use some of the water, you have to re boil it again later, hence wasting water.

If it holds a lot of water, then you could loose up to 2 cups anyway, just from evaporation, it's completely normal

Can i unhook the electricity to the cup warmer tray to save power

I think that the heating to the cup warmer comes from the water boiler which is place underneath so the heat is produced anyway.

Coffee not hot enough. By the time you add the milk its just warm.

if you make small cup of water just press small cup with no coffee in before you add coffee, it will warm cup and inside of brewer and coffee will come out much warmer, I have called them and spoken to many friends and this appears to be the only solution. Only takes a second but unfortunate that the customer needs to take an extra step rather than keurig correcting problem. I love it anyway.

Old 1996 nuova simonelli mac digit no pressure or heat

There is a reset thermostat on the right side of the machine above the element, check to see if it tripped. If it did make sure there is enough water in the machine and when turning it on, open one of the steam valves and turn off the cup warmer. Leave the steam wand open until it hisses or small amounts of steam or air will vent out.
