Re: my t.v wont turn on
unplug the TV make sure no water or moisture (if the TV got wet) is in it and the look for a fuse. This sounds like a blown fuse. If it is replace the fuse, make sure the TV is dry and then plug the TV in and observe what happens if the TV plays then the problem is fixed, if not there may be other problems like a shorted IHVT (Integrated High Voltage Transformer), or the Horizontal Output Transistor may be defective. In any event I would advise you to let a trained and qualified TV repair person take care of this issue.
I hope this helps,

Hi - it's a good set, I have a 32695 which is a year older (1999). Top of the line Home Theatre Premier series. Common problem, it is the EEPROM chip on the circuit board. Very common problem to lots of RCA, GE, and Proscan. Shows up with age and yours is about ten-years old. If you like the set (I like mine) you might want to seek out an estimate for inhome service. I'll bet it will be well over $150.

if you are a tech person please check
1 power supply output voltage is ok.
2 if it is ok check for horizontal section.
`generally tv goes defective due to moisture specially in rainy season.
problem is not much serious.
hi....maybe theres a problem with your high voltage(flyback)section.or maybe there are still moist inside your tv...try to open it(if you can) and use your hair dryer to dry it....if noise still present after you done it....call the serviceman
Should unplug the unit from the outlet first then after 5 minutes plug it back in,if this does not work it most likely needs service specially if you lost complete power in the house or if it was raining with lightning.
