I have a Sharper Image

I have a Sharper Image Digital Shower Companion. It has worked fine for several years. Last night, I took it to the ballgame with me. It worked fine there, although the battery was running low. When I checked on it this afternoon, the screen was frozen, battery icon= empty, time 2:11 PM, also, the screen says SLEEP. I have put new batteries in the unit to no avail, also, have tried a power adapter that is rated the same as the unit- no change. Any other advice before I toss it?

Well, I solved the problem myself. I took out the batteries, and the radio reset itself. I had to reprogram the presets. No big deal.
