Microphone i tried that already, i uninstalled the driver, then i let it reinstall when it checked for new drivers or whatever that step is called and then it still doesn't work

Which motherboard (manufacturer? model-number?) do you have?
Which sound-card (integrated onto motherboard? separate PCI card?) do you have?

receive error code 31 if the device driver is not updated.

As you have already updated the device try reinstalling the device driver and check if that works, if that does not resolve the issue you may ignore the error message, below link will you go more information related to this issue:

Steps to uninstall and reinstall the device driver:

Uninstall and reinstall the device from device manger. Steps to uninstall the device:
i. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
ii. Locate Microsoft ISATAP Adapter device
iii. Right click on the device and select uninstall
iv. Restart the computer for the changes to happen

Uninstall and reinstall the adapter from Program and features. Steps to follow
i. Click Start and choose Control Panel
ii. In Control Panel double click on the "Programs and Features" icon.
iii. Here you can find all the programs and items which are installed in Windows Vista.
iv. To remove adapter click once on the program and then click on Uninstall/Change and follow the prompts.

My webcam isnt working


Go to this site: http://www.msimobile.com/default.aspx

From there choose the products dropdown box at the top left....
locate your laptop model. From there if you go into the page of your product, they have "Driver/Manual Download" buttons for the models.

Click that and find the driver for your webcam and try to reinstall it.
They may have an update to your existing driver that will help.

You can also go into the device manager in Windows and "uninstall" the webcam by right clicking, and then reboot your machine to see if Windows automatically reinstalls the driver using plug and play.

It will only print one page, shows status of printing but dosn't continue to print. I checked the settings and the are correct. I try to canel the print jobs but they won't canel unless I reboot my...

You need to install the latest drivers for your printer. Is your PC VISTA operating ?
First step is to uninstall the software and reinstall the latest drivers from the given link below.

This is usually caused by corrupted printer drivers. It's most often seen after an upgrade from a previous operating system when the printer was kept connected and turned on during the upgrade.

Solution: Completely Uninstall and Reinstall your Printer and 'force' XP to see new drivers

Dont forget the step 4




Step 1 Disconnect the printer from the PC


Step 2 Go to the Control Panel and click on Add/Remove Programs. Highlight any Printer Software that is listed here. Select Remove.


Step 3 From the Control Panel, click on Printers & Faxes. Right click the printer in question and select Delete


Step 4 Look at the Toolbar. Select File, then Server Properties. Look in the Drivers tab. Highlight the printers drivers listed here and click on Remove for each one.


Step 5 Reboot the PC. Do NOT reconnect the printer!


Step 6 Go to the website of your printer manufacturer. Look for new XP drivers for your model. Download the correct software. If there are no Windows XP drivers for your printer, try looking for ones for Windows 2000. In most cases these will do almost as well.


Step 7 Run the exe file you just downloaded. It should auto-start the installation program


Step 8 The software will tell you when to connect the printer.


Step 9 Once the software is installed and the printer connected, try a test page. It should be feeling great now!

Epson workforce 600 prints with no black. Have installed new cartridges, cleaned heads numerous times, uninstalled/downloaded driver/reinstalled -- still no black printing.

hardware issue, you already performed troubleshooting needed for this issue (try calling tech support and same steps will be provided)

My cdrom drivers are corrupt in the registry but when I uninstall and then reinstall is says that the most up to date drivers are already there


When you right click on the device to uninstall it, make sure to check the small box that includes deleteing the driver software along with the device itself. This forces the computer on startup to search windows update for the new driver.

You can try these steps:
1.Check if the firewall is blocking any printer services 2.Check what port the printer is using (reenable the bi-directional support) and if it's on online mode 3.Disable all the firewalls 4.Uninstall the printer driver and software 5.Delete any items under the ff keys: NOTE: Be Exact on the File Directory ! basic steps:

1. Check all connections to make sure they are all seated properly.

2. Uninstall and reinstall the software.

3. Uninstall and reinstall scanner drivers.

4. Check manufacturer's website for updated drivers

From your description I would say try steps all the following steps in order, but it sounds like the device drivers might be the problem (but always try the simple stuff first.
