Tumble Dryer-empty water light won't go off

Epmty water light on Hotpoint Aquarius won't turn off.I have emptied the water.

Gururemove panel on rhs looking from back and you will see a chamber with a microswitch on top. either micrswitch is stuck, pump faulty or a lint blockage
