I need a slow speed motor resistor for a dovre 2200 log burner stove.

The heater motor speed reduction resistor assembly is generally placed in the heater air intake so the incoming air helps keep it cool - the resistor generates quite a lot of heat. In spite of this the resistor is generally a very reliable piece of equipment.

Most new vehicles have a one year warranty so if you have a problem the dealer should be fixing it.

Clock logic can not be changed replace the whole board
just lets you change the time will not let you slow it or speed up

You need a new blower resistor by the sounds of things. When you select the lower speed settings, the current supplied to power up the blower motor goes through the resistor, to slow the speed of the blower motor down. When the high speed is selected, the resistor is bypassed, and full current is passed to the blower. The cause of your defroster not working, can either be the switch, the relay, or an open circuit somewhere. Hope this helps.

This problem is related to faulty blower motor resistor.The resistor is the part which controls the blower motor to work on required speeds.But if resistor fails then motor will work normally but will not work on selected speed like slow and medium .In this case replacing the resistor should help. Easy replacement, the resistor is located right behind the glove box. Drop the door on the glovebox and you can see it.Its fitted with screws,remove those screws and disconnect the resistor wiring harness from the main motor.Take care,before disconnecting wiring harness note down its connection and before removing resistor note down its placement.o while fitting new resistor you dont face any fitting and connection problem. -------------- This should help.Thank you.Helpmech.

That sounds like the resistor has gone bad....These are usually under the hood....one the passenger's side bolted into the firewall...
