You need to reflash the OS on the phone you should take the
battery out first then connect it via the usb cable to the laptop/pc
you are using then open the blackberry desktop manager, click on the
apploader, then install the OS.
pls not that when u click on the apploader the pin should be
PIN:UNKNOWN you make need to do this like 4x before the pc sees the
pin:unknown but it will work once it see the pin:unknown you can
re-insert the battery and continue with reflashing the phone
If you mean "unbrick", MML can reload your OS assuming you haven't already tried to unbrick it using the software update from the RIM site unique to your phone and the original carrier.
MML is internal company software from RIM and was leaked to the web sometime ago.
Perform a search at torrent sites or Rapidshare for "Blackberry MML",
it will reflash your phone and remove any GSM carrier restrictions so
ensure you've sync'd / backed up your PDA data since it will be erased
in the process.
If you are having problems with your Blackberry Pearl 8100, 8110, 8120 or 8130, you might want to wipe all of the data off of it and start fresh. You may want to try resetting the device first by removing the battery from the unit for about 5 seconds and reinserting it. If that doesn’t help things, proceed with these steps to erase all data on the device. You may want to backup your data before trying these steps.
1. On the Home screen, select Options.
2. Select Security Options.
3. Click General Settings.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Wipe Handheld.
6. Click Continue.
7. Type blackberry.
All the data on your BlackBerry Pearl will then be deleted.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
