My Kodak Easyshare M341 will not charge, I just bought a new battery on Sunday it worked fine, but the camera will not charge I'm guessing. It flashes green once and then red exactly ten times. I have no money to send it to Kodak repair center, does anyone know what's going on or any way to help? Thank you for your time :)

SOURCE: No Flash function on Kodak Easyshare Z612

To both, I'm afraid you need to send the out camera for repair.

Camera flashes use a capacitor that holds the electric energy for the flash. It takes some time to charge and discharges very rapidly to generate the light pulse. Capacitors are notorious in their reliability. They tend to disconnect and die or short circuit and die.

In camera1234's case it might just died disconnected.

In sheranne case it might died short circuiting. In this case the camera should not be used since the battery might explode.

Remove the memory card and the battery
Clean the metal contacts on the battery using a clean cloth

Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

I have a Kodak EasyShare M341 - when I push the on/off button the lenses extends then retracts. It just will not turn on. I have charged the battery and even bought a new battery but the same thing...

Same issue with an older easy share model what i did was leave the batteries out for a few hours then tried new batteries. that worked for a short time. then i realized the model actually shorted out. i hope thats not the case. that model should work as a webcam if it does plug it in via usb with the batteries and if it still does that then your model is fried. also if you cant transfer files from your camera to the comp its fried. please let me know if this helped.

How can i make my kodak easyshare m341 into a web cam?

How good are you with a soldering iron? :-)

The M341 was designed as a camera, to store images and videos to memory. It was not designed to stream video live to another device.
