Is there a fuse on the Whirlpool 24 in. DU910PFG Built-in dishwasher? ... it just stopped working!

Good evening, There is no fuse that would shut down everything.Check for switch under sink or your home circuit breaker. Then it could be your door switch which shuts every thing down .It may be stuck open.Sometimes a door slam will get it going but still needs replacement.$40 part though.Switch is located behind console and can be checked with ohm meter.Sears Parts Direct shows blow up of your machine.
If it was your circuit breaker and it blows again ,you have a short and you'll need tech. to troubleshoot or maybe there is another load on that circuit (like toaster etc)

hope this helped

Have a whirlpool dishwasher and water standing in bottom

Hi!

Please check and make sure handle link is properly seated in door latch assembly and then check that the door switch is opening and closing properly.

Check the child lock, if it is “ON” then turn it "OFF"

Review setting of wash cycles as per the instructions given in the User/Owner manual.

Now check the circuit breaker or fuse.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

The dishwasher won't turn on

sounds like a problem with the door iterlock switch most of them have a small micro switch when you shut the door it activates the system quite easy to do but can be a bit fiddly

It sounds like the child lock is on. Is the light on when the door is closed and nothing is pressed? If so hold the lock button until the light turns off. If you do not have a lock button, try the heated dry button or consult the manual to find out which button toggles the child lock.
Good luck.

Fridge has problems

sounds like the defrost clock may be going bad and or a door switch. Look for a hole that has whatr looks like a big screw that you can turn.

Dishwasher will not turn on/ start cycle

i would ck incoming power at hook-up behind the lower access panel. maybe a wire nut loosed, if power present there next i would check the door latch switches, if they are not making contact with striker, or switch has gone bad, the machine is not recognizing the door closed and will not operate

either the latch thats on the door is bad,,or the catch on the tub is out of line,,,now if the dishwasher door drops hard and wont stay up ..you need new door spring and the weight makes it pop[ open..
