Question about Compaq Presario Notebook
Many times, if you do not have a service plan that covers accidental damage, replacing a cracked screen will cost more than purchasing a new laptop. Estimates I have seen in the past have ranged from several hundred dollars (not including labor) up to a thousand dollars. Your best bet to make this decision is to possibly pay the small estimate fee at many retailers and have them give you an estimate on how much it should run you, and then make your decision.
I hope this helps!
