Question about Ricoh Aficio GX3050 GelSprinter

Magenta/yellow ink not loading

The ink magenta/yellow will not load into the ricoh3050n. I have loaded it 3 times all with oem products it keeps saying out of those color ink. any solution...just a note could this be from the ink tubes contaminated do they have to be replaced.Thank you Ed

    do not touch the chip which is on the ink cartridge when you touch it the chip can electrify and get damaged

Clean everything w/ slightly alcohol dampened q-tips. Run Cleaning program on printer. Align cartridges.

26.001 error hp 4000

26.0:01 is a bad contact in the Ink Supply System for the yellow ink cartridge. (This can be caused by using non HP OEM ink)

Check that the ISS to Cartridge cable is not damaged and is fully connected to the Ink Supply Tubes PCA.
You can also try switching the magenta contacts with the yellow contacts and see if the problem stays with the yellow, or you now have a magenta problem.
If the problem stays with the yellow, then you will need to replace the Ink Supply Tubes and Trailing Cable.
If the problem moves to the magenta, then you just need to repair or replace the contacts (may just need cleaned)

My xerox phaser 8560 MFP is showing system error 09,037.45:54135 and I can't figure out how to fix the problem.

Ink count flag stuck after melting 2.5 Yellow Ink Sticks.

Initial Actions
• Check that the Ink Sticks are genuine Xerox.
• Check for obstructions in the Ink Wells.
• Check the Ink Loader data (P/J0150) and power (P/J5) connections.
• Verify the Ink Sticks advance in the Ink Loader.
• If the problem persists, follow the procedure below.

Step 1.Check that the ink stick is able to advance in the ink loader chute. Check for broken or wrong type ink sticks.
Are the Ink Sticks loading properly?
Yes)Go to Step 2.
No)Remove any blockage and/or replace the ink stick. Run clear ISC Fault test to clear the error.
This must be performed following an ink loader replacement.
Step 2.Test the appropriate Ink Melt Heater.
Run the Service Diagnostics Ink Melt [1,2,3,4] test.
• 1 = Yellow
• 2 = Cyan
• 3 = Magenta
• 4 = Black
Did the test pass?
Yes)Replace the Printhead
No)Replace the Ink Loader

The magenta won't work. i put a new cartridge, cleaned headers, test printed. all the other colors work find but, NO magenta comes out.

This sounds like you are using an aftermarket or refilled ink cartridge. If this is the case, try putting in a new OEM magenta ink cartridge and running the deep cleaning utility 3 times. This usually clears a clogged nozzle caused by non-OEM loaded inks.

Xerox error code 09,038.46:350??

Hi. The error code you are referencing is referring to Black Ink Stick Count Failure.
  1. Make sure you are using Phaser 8500 ink sticks
  2. Make sure the ink sticks slide properly
  3. Remove any broken or partial ink sticks from the ink-loading bin
If the fault code is still displayed you will need to contact support to schedule a service call.

Error code 09,036.44:34979 What does this mean and what can I do to resolve it?

Ink count sensor flags are
stuck after melting 2.5 ink sticks. The following codes are recorded: 9,03x.41,
where x= 5 for cyan, 6 for magenta, 7 for yellow, and 8 for black.

Magenta ibk problem

Have you tried running head-cleaning cycles? If not, try 2 or 3 followed by a nozzle check and see if magenta starts to appear. If this still produces no magenta print, or you've already tried this with no success, report back.

Hi fitz ;

I have been reading up on this printer & think I know the simple answer .
Apparently what makes this printer so fast (for text) is it uses 2 black
ink cartidges . You need to fill the 5th slot with a second cartridge .

The color on my photo prints has suddenly turned much too blue and looks pretty bad. Is this the ink for some reason?

1. Thy cleaning, test page, check Magenta and Yellow ink levels, try changing Yellow and Magenta and make sure they are OEM (Brother Genuine)
