The Asus EEE PC I bought has got QWERTZ keyboard but the person who will use it is in France and prefers the AZERTY keyboard. Is there a way to change the keys, and can we do this ourselves? Then how to change the options so that the PC recognizes the new key locations? Are they explanations about this inside the box?Thank you.

If numbers are showing up instead of letters, then your caps lock is on. Press Fn-F1 and that should fix it. However, if nothing at all is showing up, then you need to get a new keyboard. You can find them on ebay for relatively cheap, and the replacement process is fairly simple. I believe there are videos on youtube that can show you how to replace it. Hope this works!
You will have to cahnge out the keyboard in order to do this. The keyboard will most likely work fine, but it's also possible that you may have to do a bios flash in order for the machine to recognize the new keyboard.
