Question about Philips Magnavox 51MP392H Rear Projection Television
Hi, not sure how old this set is but given to me when my daughter brought a new home they left this TV behind. The only problem is the picture colours are dull. I have reset it to the factory setting restore but still no good. Could you please tell me the possible cause an if it is expensive to repair. My TV is in need to have the fuild in the tubes cleaned out. Is that costly? or is that something that an averge Joe can do?
It will cost about 600.00 to have a repair shop do it. However you can get the repair kit at the following link which has the coolant and a step by step instructional CD with pictures. Just click on the repair kit catagory, they have the CD available by itself or you can get the entire coolant change kit.
Here is the link.
