Sounds like you need a new tube or fastener.
Is the tube connector on back of machine long enough still ? (ie not broken off).

The machine says clean pump how do i do that

We recommend that you check and clean the filter regularly, at least two or three times a year, specially:
.
If the appliance is not draining properly or if it fails to perform spin cycles.
. If the pump is blocked by a foreign body (e.g. buttons, coins or safety pins).

Here is step by step:
1) Turn off the water valve going to the machine
2) Unplug it from the wall
3) Make sure you leave the water to cool down for a while if stil hot.
4) Once you are sure of above is done, move the machine to some where where you will be able to tip it forward to its front face down and the water can drain out without making your kitchen into a swamp!
5) Open the filter to let the water out
6) Now lay it onto the ground face down (maybe use old pilows to spare any possible damage under it)
7) When you look in the base, it will have a black rubber tube going from the base of the wash drum to the filter. It is held on by metal fixing clasps.
8) Take the one off at the drum by squeezing it with either your fingers or gently by a large pliers.
9) Once removed there will be a ping pong ball in the rubber tube, leave it and clear everything else.
10) Clear the hole from the drum of any blockage.
11) Check the tube to make sure it flows clear by pouring water through it and seeing if it runs out of filter (as it should still be open from earlier).
12) If not do the same clearance to the filter end of the rubber tube.
13) BE SURE AND REATTACH THIS RUBBER TUBE FIRMLY AND CAREFULLY. AS IF YOU DONT WATER WILL GO EVERYWHERE.
14) Put the machine up right back into position reattaching the water pipe (and turning water back on) and drain pipe.
15) Pour liter or so of water into the washing powder opening and plug in once you are sure all pipes are correctly back.
16) Now try it and it should be ok. If not, you will need a technician.

Hope this helps (remember to rate and comment this answer)..

Washer hotpoint

hi,
there could be many reasons for this, try these

Air-gap device: The air gap is a small device found on most washers that prevents the wash water from being siphoned into the household water supply. It's located either mid-way along or at the end of the black rubber hose that comes from the water-inlet valve. Often it's made of translucent plastic. if this develops crack or is deformed, you may develop a leak or blockage.
The tube:There's a rubber tube that runs between the water-inlet valve and either the air-gap or the inlet spout. there could be blockage or deformation in this tube.

Inlet spout:Most washers have a plastic spout near the top of the main clothes tub that directs the water into the tub. there could be some blockage in this.

try to find the place till which the water flow is unhindered in the machine.

cheers

Keeps over filling and water leaking out of side and front

There is a valve mounted on the rear of the cabinet which is supposed to cut off the water flow when the water level reaches a set point. A clear plastic tube will run from the bottom of the tub to this valve. Replace the valve, reconnect the plastic tube. Should solve the problem.

Blocked filter

This is for the WD420, but could be useful for you.

The filter is inside the machine. If you machine is still under guarantee I would try and get it done that way. Otherwise turn off the power and pull out the machine to get a the back.
Remove the panel at the bottom where the discharge hose comes out. You should see a black concertina type tube coming from the drum attached by a jubillee clip. The filter is inside. Losen the clip and pull away the tube take out the filter and clean it. When you replace it don't forget to put the ball float back in and check its well fixed by running a spin cycle before sealing up.

Load remains wet after full cycle (including spin @ 1400 rpm)

Hi Paul, Assuming it is pumping out ok, Unplug the machine tip it back at an angle, underneath you will see a black hose that is attached to the bottom of the drum, remove this, take out the ball and discard it and remove anything that may be in the filter, replace the hose and try the machine.
