Question about IBM ThinkPad T30 2366 Notebook
I have a blank screen with the power light on. The computer will not respond at all. It will not even turn off. I have tried holding down the power button with no results. Any ideas would be appreciated.
To turn it off, you will need to unplug it and take the battery out. This could be a battery problem, try starting the machine without the battery, AC only. If this doesn't work. Then I'm afraid the problem is most likely with the motherboard. Take it in for a professional diagnostic. They will be able to tell you exactly where the problem is and whether it's a replaceable component.
