Question about Canon FAX-JX200

Jx300 My canon jx300 wont receive faxes I have it set to receive it automatically and it aint coming thru...Please help

    The machine is reading Rec'd in memory but when i print the memory referrence i keep getting the same document, and it is also reading auto print off

What exactly happens when a fax should be coming through and it does not? Does the machine ring and fail to answer, or does it answer, possibly receive, and then not print? Which mode is the machine set for? Are there any error messages on the machine or other LCD message displayed?

Have you verified the telephone line is properly connected so that the machine is able to communicate? Make sure that the machine is able to use the telephone line by using the handset to make a phone call. If this fails, you will know to go through the phone troubleshooting problems, just as you would with any other phone issues.

If the phone line is functional, please reply with more detail re exactly what occurs when a fax should be coming through, e.g. does the fax machine answer the call or let it ring until answered manually? I believe that either there is an issue with the line, or there is an issue with the setup of the mode for receiving, but can not be more specific without more information.

I have jx300 facsmile, it displays "auto print off". I coudn't make it on. If any body help me to make it on, it will be grate.


Under service mode, MENU and #, under clear, select all. After that you must reenter your settings ( fax no., line type,... )

Can I refill my Canon Fax JX300 cartridge?


yes you can refill the #40 cartridge mfor the JX300 - but when you put it in you will get a message saying 'ink volume unknown' and it won't do anything and the yellow light on the machine will be blinking. - to solve this problem hold the stop button down till the count of ten and the machine will work normally except you will get no low ink warning

I have a Canon Fax-Jx300 and it keeps saying "Rec'd in Memory"


Normally on this machine the auto print is set to off,press the on /off button ones untill it shows auto print on.

I have a JX300 fax machine. I have it set up for Tel/Fax with message manager on my phone. I have it set to pick up on 5 rings. It says receive and then disconnects sometimes. Some faxes do come...


Try reducing the number of rings on answer, it could be the sending machine is timing out from not getting answered soon enough. Try 3 rings, if that works, then try 4 rings...find out which one works best.
