The router that you're using, is it also your modem, like a gateway (modem and router in 1)? I need more info to help you out here.

Is the power input center pin + or - on the ENH908-NWY?

Try contacting the manufacturer.
Or, if the old AC adapter still works, it might be written on it. If not, try it with a multimeter.

If you don't have a multimeter, you can ground one contact of a light bulb and with the other contact see where the current is coming from (know that this is completely at your own risk: don't experiment with electricity unless you really know what you're doing!!)

Theres an ip address conflict when i use my 8 port NWAY switch

You need a router to use the hub or switch. It provides the IP routing. Make sure the Router is set DHCP. If you have all this correctly setup then try:
Go to Start > Search (Run in XP) and type cmd and hit ENTER. In the command prompt type ipconfig /release and hit ENTER. Then type ipconfig /renew ENTER. This just refreshes your IP. Test it.

No puedo conectarme con el rauter, no tengo los driver

Hubs don't require drivers. They simply connect via RJ-45 with a Cat network cable.

No necesitas drivers.

Setting up a small network using DSL and a DLink router

1.) The setup needs changing
2.) first off the dss-24 is a network switch not a router
3.) all of your pc equipment should be pluged into that device.
4.) chose one port as an uplink to your att modem
I think your problem is that the new modem is only giving out one ip address. So what ever first pc is turned on that is the one that grabs the address.
5.) you will most likly need a router to take the one ip address assigned via att then dole out additional ones. Remember the dss-24 is not a router. It simply connects everyone together. Each device still needs an ip address given from somewhere. Your old cable modem probibly did that but your new att dsl most likly does not.hence the new router will do that.....
to set it up do the following
2.) Find out the ip setup needed for your dsl service
A.) gateway ip
B.) primary & secondary dns server ip`s
C.) subnet mask
3.) get into the setup of your new router and then plugg in
all of these values using a fixed if address in the router
4.) connect routers wan port to one of the modems port. u may have to use a cross cable or straight look at the link lites to find out if they are talking to each other
5.) make sure that the routers lan side is setup for DHCP
6.) connect one lan port off the router to an uplink
of the dss-24. Then reboot everything
7.) viola it should all work internet on evey machine and file sharring.

My two computers cannot pass through my broadband provider (through the switching hub) at the same time.

that is not possible for an single isp connection you can only connect one computer at a time and hub is basically a repeater that is it simply repeats the packets it receives from one input out the others.

Auto-Sensing Hub - ' Router? '

Hello Steve,

A hub will work to hook two PCs together, but you will need a router to get any data transferred. You can set up your XP computer to act as a router in the Network Connections section of Control Panel. Be aware that one of your computers must have two network cards. One must plug in to the DSL and the other must plug in to the hub. If that's the case, click the "Set up a home or small office network" on the left side of the window and a wizard will pop up and help you the rest of the way.

If you don't want to deal with it, you can just purchase a router.

Let me know if you have questions - I'll monitor this thread.

Linksys routetr problem

HI,
The problem can be caused, because of two reasons, one the router profile on the computer has got corrupted and second the router itself. Have you tried resetting the router to factory defaults.. Caution: all wireless security settings and user name and passwords would go back to factory defaults.

1.Disconnect all cable from the back of the router.
2. Shut down your computer and the DSL box
3.Press the reset button, using a paper clip at the back of the router.Keep it pressed for 5 seconds
4. Disconnect the power cord to the router
5. Switch on the Dsl box, wait for the lights to stablize
6. Reconnect the interenet cable and the power cable to the router and power it on.
7 Let the lights stabalise on the router and power on the computer.

Check if that resolves the problem, if not we might need to update the router.

Thanks
Proton

Just connected to cable modem from dsl

two things are you hooked up from the dsl to the router via Ethernet or usb is so check the settings in the router, it should be auto, so it could choose but lets not assume anything.may sure dhcp client or server is enabled on the router, if not it would not pick up the ip adddress from dsl.
Is the mac address of your computer hardcoded to your dsl, if it is then you would have to clone your pc mac to the router for it to work.
If this is not the case, try a different router if it works the router is faulty. if that does not work plug the dsl directly to the pc and go to start, run type ipconfig /all if you recieve an ip address and you can see a dns address from your isp and you can go to the internet, then the problem is your router, if not the problem is with you isp dsl, please contact them. was this helpful let me know.
