I would recommend a $20 jewelry cleaner from a tool shop. it comes in handy for many things. it will help get the debris out of the small check valves in the carburetor. That is the issue with a machine stalling out or not running above idle when you have fixed air leaks like the fuel line.
You can get parts and supplies at stores like www.arcolawn.com

What are the carberator settings for a homelite bandit sx-135 weed eater?

If it's a Zama 2-stroke carb...the reference settings for the high and low speed needle jets are... turn them all the way in till they are snug and them bring them back out about 1 1/2 turns. (one and a half ) That is a good starting point for their carbs and should get it to start so fine tuning can be done.

Bgreen. Need correct part no. for primer bulb for sx135 bandit string trimmer. old one has cracked due to age.

Your SX-135 string trimmer was built by Homeliteand has a model number of UT-20601. That said, your trimmer's primer bulb part number depends on teh type of carburetor it has. If your trimmer has a Walbro carburetor, the primer bulb part no. is 01201. If it has a Zama carburetor (the most likely one) the primer bulb part no. is A01195A.

You can go to the following website to order the part: http://www.homelite.com/service_support/order_parts

Good Luck, hope this helps!

Need help reconnecting fuel lines

One fuel line (the on with the filter in the end of it) comes out of the fuel tank and goes to the bottom fitting on the carburator. The other hose comes out of the tank and goes to the bottom fitting on the primer bulb. A third section of fuel line goes from the top fitting on the primer bulb to the top fitting on the carburator. Hope this helped and best wishes.

The trimmer I have is a sx-135 bandit. which fuel line pulls fuel from the tank

The longest of the two lines is the one that pulls the fuel from the tank. It should also have a fuel filter attached to the end of it which lays at the bottom of the tank.
The other line goes form the primer bulb on the carb. to just inside the tank ( about 1/2 in to 1 inch).

My homelite weed eater sx-135 the fuel filter broke of the tube

The longest, and sometimes smaller in diameter, fuel line goes from the carb. to the bottom of the tank. It should rest comfortably on the bottom of the tank. The other line should go from the primer bulb to just inside the gas tank, (about an inch).
HINT: Cut the fuel lines at an angle before inserting them into the gas tank. This will allow you to get them in much easier.

If you need further assistance, just let me know.

The longer, and sometimes smaller in diameter fuel line, goes from the carburetor to the bottom of the tank. This line, which has the filter attached to the end, should rest comfortably on the bottom of the tank.
The other fuel line goes from the primer bulb to just inside the tank, (about an inch, with that very small piece of plastic attached to it. This piece of plastic keeps this line from pulling out of the gas tank. this line serves as an overflow from carb.
