We purchased a 2007 Jetta just before Christmas. We noticed the tire pressure sensor light was on and have discovered the tires will not hold air. The dealer even replaced the back tires. Still the air pressure will not hold. HELP!

What does it mean when the low tire pressure light on a 2009 Jetta blinks? (It is not low tire pressure, Ive tried refilling the tires)

Make sure you refill the tires with the specific amount of air and if it doesnt make the light go away you got a bad tire pressure sensor.

My sons' 08 jetta is in Chicago. (very cold there) His low tire pressure light on the dashboard lit up. what should he do?

Hello: Check tire pressure, Proper pressure should be on a label on the driver door and door frame. If tires are low, air them up to spec's. If only one tire is low you should check it for a puncture.

I have a light on on the dash that is an ! with a hoseshoe around it

That would be for the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). This usually comes on due to low tire inflation. Inflate the tire to recommended pressure and the light should go out. You might have to drive the vehicle for a while to get the air to expand.

Just got new tires on our 2007 jetta and the tire

you will need to go to the place and have the scan the tire monitor computer to see what codes you have. they may have broke one or more of the sensors in the tire that are very expensive. if they don't have the correct machine/scanner then you will need to find a shop that does and you will no more then

Low tire pressure light

Do you have sensors in the wheels? I dont think so, but If you do... I recommend setting the tire pressure at 35, if you set any lower, the light will come on when it gets cold and the pressure drops. Did you also set the spare?
You can reset the light by finding the button underneath the drivers dash, and with the key on, hold the button in until the light goes out. Then let go, and press again, hold until the light flashes 3 times, then it should stay out.
