Question about Kenmore 73502 / 73504 / 73509 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
The freezer is working fine, but the evaporator fan will not come on to move the air into the fridge side. The evaporator is not a block of ice and the heat coil is working. Does the ADC PCB control the fan and the damper? When I first plug the unit in the evaporator fan comes on for about 1 min.In the past I have had this problem, but when I unplugged the unit and left it overnight it worked fine in the morning and continued to work for about 5 weeks. Any ideas will be appreciated.
Yes, the fan is controlled by the pcb controller, but it is also dependent on the temperature sensor since it is waiting for the sensor to give the signal that the freezer coils has froze up before turning the fan on.
it could be a bad freezer temp sensor.
