Yes you can reset your router to factory defaults. You should find a little hole on back of unit near the power plug hole.

Insert a straighten paperclip while power is on. Hold it for about 10 seconds. After that, unplug power on your modem and the router. Plug back the power on the MODEM FIRST and wait 1 min. Then plug back the power on your router. Wait about 20 sec and the internet should be ok now.

If you still have the setup CD, go ahead making your setup and choose a new passcode. If you don't have it you can email me and I will guide you with manual access to your router settings.

Unable to connect with my router. says the pin is not the right one. was working last week.

mcdevito75 here, I a;lso have the Belkin wireless, try shutting down your computer and re start. Or, before you put in your pin, remove the router wire from the back (USB port) of your computer for 15 seconds and try again.

The PIN I am using that is on the bottom of my router is not working when I try to connect my wifes laptop to our network

you are trying to connect to the wireless network on a laptop.
When you try to connect to the wireless network , it is askign for a PIN number.
If it is Windows VISTA or 7 Operating system, then on the same window at the bottom you will find the option. " I don't have PIN and I want to enter the key manually " OR " I don't want to configure the network, I want to connect "
Click on this option then it will ask you for the security key or passphrase if your network is secured.
If you don't know the key then you will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
