Hi,
the oki data ml 320 driver should be bundle with the operating system. If not you can download it from okidata website.

http://okidata.com/mkt/html/nf/Drivers.html

Try it and let me know if this helps.

Thank you.

Okidata 320 turbo microline prints jibberish

sounds like a job was sent to the printer with the wrong driver. There is no way to purge it just load some paper and let it run until it stops. They make sure your emulation matches the driver youa are using. Example Epson 9pin compatiable or OKI ML320 Turbo-IBM drive you want the emulation set to Epson FX. Or if using the OKI ML320 Drive you want the emulation set to ML.

Suonds as if your spacing motor is going out. The part number is 56513701. Here's a link to a free complete Okidata Service Manual for your 320Turbo. The manual will walk you through the testing process to verify the problem prior to ordering the part.

Printer is not advancing the paper

Check your software settings; it sounds like the Oki is getting additional (surplus) line feeds.

Oki ML 320 Turbo/D IBM - JetDirect 170x Print Server prolems

Check the receive buffer on the Oki. I usually set it to the highest (88k or 128k). You might also check the print head gap if you are printing multi part invoices. If the print head is too close it may overheat and stop printing. If you have a different printer, swap it out and see if it prints correctly. It may be a problem with the JetDirect 170x, not the printer.
