If the light on the transmitter does not light you need a new battery. That light is a battery indecator light. If it still doesn't work then you need a new transmitter.Hunter parts 1888-830-1326

HUNTER ceiling fan remote works with fan but not light

Unfortunately, you either have a faulty reciever or remote. A replacement will cost $30-$40 at homedepot2.gif. And it doesn't matter which is faulty because you can't purchase them seperately anyhow.

make sure you have the remotes/receivers set to different jumpers. I installed 2 fans and had the same problem, just had to change the jumpers on one of the fans and the corresponding remote

The fan runs but lights won't come on anymore when I use the remote, pull chain or wall switch

I'm betting the circuit board has gone defective.  After shutting off power to unit, disassemble and have a look at it.  Bad solder joints and discolored from heat areas may lead to a repair.  Otherwise, this site has Hunter fan parts.

I have a hunter fan remote that is not working anymore. (2 yrs old) I dont see anywhere on the fan itself to manually turn it on. Can I take a remote from another room and reprogram it towork on this...

Yes I have done that before.you open the battery compartment and you will see 4 jumpers.Look on the on you want to replace, then change the ones on the new one.Write down the jumper locations before moving them so you can have them for the other fan.
