check cartridge setting how-
check all spring on correct place
check ITR spring touch point
check printer to cartridge touch point

please check exposer lamp..nd cable.

clean the optical system i.e.first mirror,second mirror,reflector,lens etc to get dark copies.
checklife of photoconductor drum if it is over replace the drum.

"No" is the answer to all of those questions, and even if it were "yes", purchasing a good quality refurbished digital machine from a reputable supplier, would still be a far cheaper option than all of that.

Hello sir; The problem is caused by drum cleaning blade, you need to replace drum cartridge or drum blade if you can.

It can be reset, but you may have to fix the problem first. And what is the problem with the copier, is it a 6025 or6551?

yes ther is ! first clean the glass with Mr Sheen(which is a spray on furniture polish) the glass needs to be slippery so the paper slides nice and easy over it.Then if that doesnt help,where the feeder attaches to the machine are 2 hinges one of which you should be able to adjust. Hope this helps.
