Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
I loades Windows XP on this laptop. From Day 1 I used a wireless mouse. Now I cannot enable the touchpad. I have never used the touchpad before. I tried FN-9 to no avail. Please hELP.

In the device manager, check to see if the drivers for the synaptic pointing device (touch pad) are installed. If they aren't then you will need to go to Toshiba's support site and download them. If they are, then unistall them and reboot. The machine will find the touch pad and reinstall the drivers. Many times when an external is used, especially for a long period os time, the drivers for the external will override or glitch the drivers for the internal. Reinstalling them should do the trick.
