The washing machine doesnt finish the wash. When it is almost done it starts to beep and flashes the letter F. This happens before the drain/spin cycle. Help!

Hi,

This problem is most often the CCU circuit board (inside, top, back, plastic case) there are bad solder joints on the circuit board where the relays (5 of them) and the spade connectors are supposed to be firmly soldered to the board. Often times the vibration of the machine will make or break one of these connections causing the machine to stop at various times. The cure is to remove the CCU case then the circuit board and touch-up those solder joints I mentioned. If your not up on soldering techniques you can remove the CCU case and circuit board and take them, along with this response, to a good appliance repair shop and they should be able to help you out. Machine not spinning. Have you stood next to machine and listened? When all water is drained out (watch the drain hose for water to stop) then you should hear the spin start and hear it building up speed. If it doesn't then you need to post back here with more detail on what you could hear or see happening. i.e. how long after water stopped draining did machine finish and switch off?

Zanussi aquacycle 1200.After a wash has finished and i empty washing, reload again,it wont start and none of the lights come on.eventially it works ok again after a good 5-10 mins.
you have probably done no harm. try selecting spin and drain again to ensure the water has drained properly.
Machine starting on its own after 5 minutes or so is usually the door lock failing, again not caused by your actions.

Simpson ezi 950 9.5 will not empty, rinse, spin dry.
That sounds like the pump is jammed. Have you checked for hair slides or similar? Once the pump is free to operate, your Simpson should resume normal service.

There is still water in my washing machine drum when it is done
Is your drain hose to far down the drain pipe?
Sometimes the water can cyphon back down into the machine if this is the case.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin
Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

My tricity bendix washing machine flashing and beeping end light
Hi, we had something similar happen just before christmas. Our machine seemed to finish a cycle and started making beeping noise with end light flashing. Then when I switched it back on to do another load it just started beeping with end light flashing no matter what cycle was selected. Engineer has been out and advised that it is a fault with the motherboard so has ordered another one. Hope this is of some help. Machine was tricity bendix aw1400w.
