SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Navman 450MLT worked fine until I went to do the first update of the maps - unit stalled during the process, and now won't work (no maps). Smart recovery does nothing. How do I un-brick my Navman?

If you have any chance of receiving a repair or replacement unit from Navman, do that. I do not know their return/repair policy but trying to fix it yourself may void any chance you have of getting real customer support, unfortunately.

Otherwise, take a look at this post:
In particular: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2014297&p=2&#r23

He says there is a paperclip hole. This should do a factory reset and may fix your device. Otherwise he claims that reformatting the drive then "safely disconnecting hardware' may fix the device.

I have a Navman, since 2007. I want to update the Australian maps.

Contact them direct from this page. We are Fixya, a self help website, people just like you helping others because we can.

As the device is 10 years old, I think they are going to tell you to buy a new one. You get lifetime map updates on new ones.

However, I just found this page, so my advice to you is to buy a Garmin GPS Unit!
