I placed an online order last Wednesday but they didn't refund the money back to my Best Buy credit card. The problem is that I'd to use Best Buy credit card to purchase an item. That item is pretty expensive so I don't have enough money in my credit card account, so I'm wondering that how long it should take to refund money back to Best buy credit card?

Either contact Behringer www.behringer.com where you will find the specifications, or buy a fuse and holder (you will need to buy the socket too) at any electronics component store. I found suitable fuses at au.rs-online.com (for Australia) Suitable fuse for Australia is T 2.5 AH 250 volt rating listed at $4.00 for the standard version and $64.47 for a fuse with IP68 (International Protection rating)
For the US you would need the 5.0 amp version, same prices. You just need to check the socket design and compare with the products offered online for design compatibility.
I TOO HAVE BOUGHT THE AV11K. I TOTALLY HATE IT. ITS LIKE ITS BEEN CO-DESIGNED BY THE EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY AND THE PLAYER AND WOOFER/AMP DONT FIT TOGETHER.
ID LIKE TO SAY THIS THING IS SO POORLY DESIGNED IT REALLY WOULD BE WORTH SENDING IT BACK FOR A REFUND.
ON THE BACK OF THE PLAYER, AND THE WOOFER YOU'LL FIND LETTERS. IE LF,LB,,,,RF, RB. (LEFT FRONT , LEFT BACK ECT). USING THE 'TULIP CABLES SUPPLIED YOU NEED TO CONNECT THE WOOFER AND THE PLAYER TOGETHER MAKING SURE THE LETTERS CORRESPOND.
DO THIS FOR ALL THE CONECTIONS ON BOTH THE PLAYER AND THE WOOFER. THERE SHOULD BE NON LEFT OVER.
THE LETTERS CORROSPOND THE THE POSSITION OF THE SPEAKER IN THE ROOM. SO ( I ADVISE YOU GET A REAL OF EXRTA SPEAKER CABLE FROM EBAY FOR A COUPLE OF POUNDS ) AND PLACE THE SPEAKERS IN ALL THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE ROOM THEN FILL IN THE NEEDED CABLE TO MAKE IT REACH THE WOOFER, WHICH MOST LIKELY YOU WILL HAVE BESIDE OR BEHIND THE TV AS ITS MOST CONVENIENT THERE ( WOOFERS ARE BASS MAKING SPEAKERS AND DONT REALLY CARE WHERE THEY ARE PLACED IN A ROOM.)
YOU SHOULD BE READY TO GO NOW.
THAT IS IS YOU CAN GET ANY SOUND TO COME OUT THE SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM ( LIKE I COULDNT).
THE SMALLER REMOTE IS FOR THE SOUND. THIS CAN BALANCE LEFT AND RIGHT AND VOLUME. AS WELL AS SELECT A AUX INPUT SUCH AS AN IPOD ECT. ( FOR THIS YOU WILL NEED A SIMPLE 3.5 > STEREO PHONO PLUGS. SIMILAR TO THE ONES USED BY THE AV11K.)
WHY IN HELLS NAME THIS SYSTEM IS ON THE MARKET I DONT KNOW. GOD PLEASE RE-ANIMATE MY LAST, AND TRUSTY PHILIPS DVD PLAYER..
Go back and read the fine print on your membership agreement. I imagine you agreed to buy a minimum number of DVD's in a specific time period. Digital signing is the way of the world so you can't really hide behind that.
Not defending them, just explaining. I've been a member / non-member numerous times in 30 years. I'd join, get the intro teaser offer, buy my 3 CD's or whatever and quit. Then they'd beg me to rejoin with another candy offer and we'd do that dance every few years.
The BX8's take either a TRS or XLR inputs only. from a laptop, you can get a 1/8" stereo to 1/4" l/r mono splitter cable at radio shack that will plug into the back. then just plug up and you will be good to go for about $10. serously, though, you should save up and buy a studio level firewire or usb card like the presonus inspire and use that to connect. for 200 bucks more spent, you would have much better quality recordings and playbacks that are matched and line level.
Never buy a wireless speaker system! Too susceptible to interference, and the RF transmitter/receivers will drift off frequency in a short time, leaving you with perfectly good but useless speakers. If it's a used system, there's not much you can do. If new, of course you can take it back and get a REFUND - don't exchange them for another wireless system. Run wires, live with the mess and enjoy proper performance for years.
Hi I am afraid it sounds like exactly the same problem I had, Namely the PSU(power suplly unit) is failing, This is a common fault (by reading loads of forums) I contacted KEF today about mine and they say the probably wont be able to source any more spares(due to so many having thuis problem no doubt) So I would suggest contacting the people you bought it from,Under the consumer protection act you should expect an electrical item to "Last a reasonable amount of time" .Mine is 3 years old and I do not consider this to be a long period so kick up and you should be entitled to a repair or at worst a partial refund.Look here basically the same Sub. http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=436234&highlight=kef
