Their would only be a limited number of components capable of blowing the fuse. They would be:

  • bridge diode;
  • filter capacitor;
  • regulator IC;
  • mains B+ capacitor; and/or
  • overvoltage protection (SCR type).
all in the power supply circuitry.

Depending on the PSU design, other load side components can and may cause the fuse to blow likewise. They may include (but not be limited to):
  • horizontal output transistor;
  • flyback transformer; and/or
  • yoke.
Repairs/diagnosis of course would require a fair familiarity of electronic components/circuitry and safety procedures, use of a DVM and a soldering iron. It would be to your added advantage access to a service manual or at the very least a schematic diagram with voltage readings. Should you be uncomfortable performing a DIY (do-it-yourself), perhaps your best bet would then be to seek the services of a qualified professional.
Hope this be of initial help/idea.

Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Fuse F1 is blown

You don't give any information about the make & model of the machine, but if the fuse keeps blowing, it's probably due to a short circuit somewhere in the machine. It could be as simple as a cut in part of the wiring, allowing the copper cable to touch another metal part, or it could be the compressor or pump wiring shorted out. If you don't have the experience or equipment to isolate the short, your best bet is to call a service engineer.

Does not heat

There is a slo-blow 20 amp fuse inside of the ac power panel. You will have to remove the front and locate the fuse inside. This fuse suplies the power to the Traveling Wave Tube that spplies the microwave energy.

Watching the TV and heard a "pop", it went dead. Opened up the back and found a blown 4A 125V fuse. Replaced fuse and plugged in TV. Fuse blew instantly when I plugged in the TV. Sylvania...

The power suply unit may be dead......if the fuse blows instantly it means that the main input is short.
possible parts damaged :the diodes from the mains, the power tranzistor and the ic from the primary part and other components around them.
First unplug the tv, unload the mains capacitor (using a light bulb) check all the diodes from the rectifing bridge, check for any shortened semiconductors or blow resistors.
