Question about RCA HD52W59 HDTV Projection Television
My RCA HDTV model number HD52W67 color is out of line, image is blurry and it's like the colors are not lined up to show a clear picture, I have heard sometimes hdtv need to be calibrated, because of hooking up a video game system or a power surge, does this sound like what my problem is ? and if so does anyone have any idea what it costs to have this fixed
I gave this advice before:
It sounds like you have a convergence amplifier problem. There are many articles on the Internet on how to do this type of repair yourself, but what these articles fail to mention is that if done wrong the chances are your TV will be damaged even more. So I would suggest that if you do not know electronics, for you to take the TV to a repair shop or have a TV technician come to your house to check and recommend a repair strategy for your TV set.
I hope this helps,
