Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) describes how stereo-quality audio can be streamed from a media source to a sink. A2DP defines the protocols and procedures that realize distribution of audio content of high-quality in mono or stereo on ACL channels. The term "advanced audio," therefore, should be distinguished from "Bluetooth audio," which indicates distribution of narrow band voice on SCO channels as defined in the baseband specification.i hope it helps! =)

Bluetooth won't connect

I'm going to assume..you've got an iPhone.. Simply because apple seems to have a "list" of approved blue-tooth items.

Unless your "JailBroken" (google only, please do not ask), if the said bluetooth device will not connect, consider updating your iOS to 5.1.1. or 6.0, or simply deal witht thefact..it won't work... Older deviices (3gs and prior) don't support things like A2DP (blue-tooth bi-direction communication, like a head-set)... and unless (jailbroken..see above about google). will simply not work.

If your NOT talking about an iPhone..you've got me.

Can u please tell where to find blue tooth on nokia c3110

To use the Bluetooth function on your handset, you will need to select Menu>Settings>Connectivity>Bluetooth. Then you will need to activate the feature. To do this, select ON to activate it. Then you will need to make your handset visible, to do this you will select visibility, or my phone's visibility, to the ON position. This will enable other Bluetooth users to connect with your handset for sharing. Note: You will have to accept when someone is trying to connect to your handset via Bluetooth if you wish to accept. To pair with a device, you will simply select search for device, and it will pick up any Bluetooth devices in the area. Please note that your device is Bluetooth A2DP capable, which means that you can use any Bluetooth technology equipnent that is A2DP and below, it is backward compatible. You will not be able to pair if the Bluetooth technology is greater than A2DP. You also have the ability to name your handset, to do this simply select My phone's name, and choose the name that you desire the handset to have. This will make it easier for someone to pair with you if you choose to share files.

I am not able to hear songs on the BHo8n bluetooth device. I am able to hear the incoming calls and able to talk .. however.. i would like to hear the songs as well.. I am using black berry 8310 model.....

Unfortunately, your bt device does not support the capability of listening to music. What you need is a bt device that has A2DP functionality. A2DP or Advanced Audio Distribution Profile is a Bluetooth profile that allows for the wireless transmission of stereo audio from an A2DP source. Your BB 8310 has A2DP so all you need is a bluetooth headset that also supports A2DP.

Need to know how to pair lost pairing info

first you have to turn the power to blue tooth on ,then you will have to put ur speaker into discovery mode, most blue tooth manufactures use the power button for this feature by holding it down for 6 to 10 seconds when turning on the device it will put it into discovery mode, your phone or computer or game system should be able to recognize the blue tooth device then.It will ask you for a pin pairing code, now most manufactures use a factory 4 digit pin pairing code they are as follows 0000,1234,1111,or 9999 hope this helps

Unable to use new h500 headset

The H500 is a monaural headset, thus good for phone calls only, not for listening to stereo music. You haven't specified which Motorola phone you own. Check in its user guide if it is able to handle stereo bluetooth headsets (i.e. if it bears the A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles), which are suitable for music streams. If your phone is able to handle them, go to the mall (or store, or even online), buy one set which suits you better, pair them with your phone and enjoy!
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

When paired to my iPhone I can hear but the other party cannot hear me. I also get a constant repeating tone in the left earpiece after attempting a call

Your phone and headset Blue-tooth profile may not be compatible, there are different types of Blue-tooth profile and the moto s9 supports A2DP, i do not know what profile your phone supports you would have to look in the manufacturing specification.

A2DP (Advanced Audio Distubution Profile) Allows you to be able to listen to near CD quality audio wirlessley it also allows a platform for basic function to be used such as play\puase, volume control ect

Blue-tooth profile basically make sure that two devices are talking in the same language and therefore understand the commands they are giving each other, saying that some different profile may work together but as a rule of thumb try to match the profiles

Bluetooth headset problem

There are two types of profiles that Bluetooth headsets uses. One, it is called the A2DP (Advanced Digital Profile) and second is called the Headset profile (Mono).

The A2DP is used for listening music that's transmitted from the phone to the headset.
The Headset profile is used for calling. But the A2DP can also be used for calling if the phone or the headset support it.

If one of your device (either the phone or the headset) doesn't support it, then that could be the reason why you couldn't hear the sound.

If both devices support A2DP, make sure that your headset is connected to the phone via the A2DP profile.

You need to refer to the phone manual to see if it's supported by your phone and how to connect to it.

Hope I explained it properly. Have a great day!

Blue tooth

Most phones that support bluetooth have a "headset" or "hands-free" profile that the device must be in for the bluetooth headset to work. Can you confirm that your device is in this profile?
