Please Help.. Automatic Shutdown

Hi All,

MY Imate Jam shuts down automatically. There after when I restart it, it asks for alignment and installs every thing from scratch.

I mean to say it hard resets itself every now and then.

I guessed it could be old battery problem, but it went off few times when it was on external power supply ( charging).

I serached on web and came to know many other persons ( at least 10-15 I know ) are facing same problem.

Please give me some advice on this.
