I am adding a radio to my kxta308 system and for a hand-set i am using a kxt7730. Once i plug it all together, i am still hearing the standard hold music. Is there something i have to turn on via the hand-set?

Yes thank you, but how do i do that exactly as i have no manuel.

to activate your radio, you have to go through system programming
and activate the external music feature....

open the system programming(its the phone connected to jack 01) press program button and enter * and # followed by the password(1234), then enter 104, press auto/ans button to select, select external music, press store button.
