I have yxtel w589 cell phone but i do not found gprs service for net so i need help to activate gprs, actually in my cell yahoo messenger & msn inbuilt & they will run also but internet is not connected so reply me soon for my satisfaction

ask to service provider (network provider) for necessary GPRS/EDGE settings, once you got the settings you can start surf over the net.

Your phone software needs immediate up-gradation.......ask the service center to live ur phone.....

need to activate your GPRS to proceed.... otherwise reset your phone by typing *#7370# and your phone will be on original settings.

Have you activated packet data connection or GPRS from your network service provider?

If not, call your service provider's customer care and get it activated to enable browsing all that you have mentioned here.

If yes, then check if there are any access points available on your phone by going to Settings --> Connectivity. Call your service provider if you don't find any.

GPRS settings and Activation support is provided by the service provider(Airtel,vodafone.etc).You could call your service provider customer care and get the instructions forthe GPRS settings and also they would do activation for internet connection.

to acctivate gprs on your handset, you will need to contact your service provider and ask them to send the settings out to you for your handest, this will than be saved to your handst and you will be able to surf the net or send multi media messengers from your phone.
