I have a MDB6769AWS 13 months old (of course 1 month out of warranty) that will not run. The start button blinks along with 2 other buttons but nothing comes on. Tried canceling everything and starting over but no dice.

SOURCE: maytag dishwasher wont start

Drain the water out of the dishwasher. The high water switch ius engaged, lowering the water will disengage.

"unlock" the machine by pressing on '3' and holding for a few seconds. Thats what it says on the back of my dishwasher which is the exact same model.

SOURCE: Maytag dishwasher, no power, then flashing lights, now no power.

Had the same problem, removed the kick panel to find a set of instructions under the insulation, had to push a sequence of the panel buttons, its been running great for a couple of weeks now!

SOURCE: my maytag 200 quiet series dishwasher has a button

The control panel has bee locked. Press and hold the heated dry button for 3 seconds until the light next to the lock "3" button goes off. This feature is to prevent small children from starting it. Locking the controls works the same way, hold the heated dry button for 3 seconds will turn it back on.

Vizio L32 stopped working.
I have seen this many times. The tv most likely has run its course. It could be the power supply or a lamp. Sounds more like a lamp, as you still have lights on your set. check around and get some prices on a lamp. you can have a local shop install it for you. or just replace the set.

Sony KDL-40V3000 standby blinks 13 times.
A service technician arrived at my home this morning and infromed me that 13 blinks indicates a bad LCD panel. His quote to repair it was approximately $500 more than the TV initially cost. I contacted Sony support directly, and they have agreed to replace the TV, since it is less than 30 days out of warranty. The KDL40V3000 has apparently been dicontinued so they are replacing with a KDL40V4100(factory reconditioned). I know this won't necessarily help others with the same problem, but if your warranty ended recently enough they will probably work with you to mitigate the expense.

Sharp LCD can't turn on
Bummer, one month out of warranty. This is why I always recomend keeping expensive, high tech stuff under warranty.
First thing to do is buy and download the service manual from servicemanual.net and find out what the fail code of 1 blink means.
