Display problem

posted by selarono on Jul 23, 2008

When playing WOW on my Aspire M5630, the display locks up and the unit shuts down. I recieve an error that says "windows has encountered an unreversable problem and needs to shut down".

When I start the machine again, the Problem Reports and Solutions application tells me to do a system back up to prevent data loss and to contact the manufacturer to determine which component is failing.

This is an ACER ASPIRE M5630 according to the tag on the side
I have the same problem.

YOUR COMUTER GRAPHICS CARD PROBABLY NEEDS A UNGRADE, VIDEO GAMES PUT A LOT OF STRESS ON THE PROC NEED TO CLEAN OT THE PROCESSOR AND THE VIDEO CARD TO DELIVER GAMING PERFORMANCE. SINCE YOUR SYSTEM WASN'T DESIGN FOR GAMING IT MAY CAUSE A LOT OF MEMORY CONFLICT WITH THE RAPID TRANSFERRING OF INFORMATION FROM THE PROCRSSOR TO THE RAM, TRY UPGRADING YOUR RAM AND VIDEO CARD AND U SHOULD HAVE BETTER PERFORMANCE WITHOUT SHUTDOWN. U MAY DUST OUT THE COMPUTER DUST ON THE PARTS CAN MAKE THEM OVERHEAT AND SHUT DOWN
