Hey bigg t,
I just had my mom's hobart shipped cross country, and when I opened the crate the motor was packed up-side-down..(I know-don't ask).... There is a little grease dripping from the transmission stick(1 drip). How worried should I be. I don't have an account on fixya yet as I just did a quick search and found this post. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for your help.

on a a200 there is no oil. this mixer requiers grease. if mixer is leaking oil it is because the grease is broken down .you have to pull tpo cover off mixer remove trans. parts clean out old grease clean all trans. parts reassemble put top cover back on .then make sure mixer runs in all 3-speeds before putting 1.5 cans of -47grease back in grease can be bought @any hobart office
Hi. If the motor does not turn, the problem is electrical. Trace and test the electrical circuitry with the mixer unplugged. Start with the electrical plug and work your way through to the motor and switch connections. An electric motor technician should be called in if you are not familiar with electrical troubleshooting techniques. Good luck!.

There is a website called onesharpstore.com, It carries parts for the hobart 30 quart mixer. I specifically saw the bowl and hook attachments as well as others like beaters and a cheese and vegetable grater. Hope this helps. And if you sign up I think you can even request a full catalog for your machine.
