Something got pressed on my AVR2807, and now I don't have any picture from my satellite or Blu-ray player. The sound comes through though. And the picture from my direct connection from the satellite to my TV works fine, so I'm pretty sure it's the receiver. Please help!

Re: lost picture on my AVR-2807
Assuming your satellite is working properly on both picture(direct connection to tv with HDMI or component video cable or composite video.)and sound. Now,if you blue-ray dvd player is using HDMI cable connected directly to your tv,that would be a easy fix;however,if the blue-ray dvd player is connected through the Denon receiver first and then video output from receiver to the tv,that will be a different story. Also,i don't know if you are referring to your Denon remote control or a universal remote control? solutiondoct

cant use both hdmi and opti outs try sum setting in blue ray but u nee dto plug all blue ray dish directto samsung hdmi then 1 master digital out form tv to sterio digital i n ok tell samsung your output also
The best possible solution to your problem is :
Connect your blu ray player directly to the HDMI input of you Plasma and watch HD video....
and connect the 5.1/7.1 sound thru the optical or the coaxial link directly to your AVR 3805.
You will not loose anything on the Blu-Ray.
The sound is best processsed by the AVR3805, while the video, which is the real upgrade (BluRay) in terms of resolution of picture would be processed by your plasma.
hello if you know this spitter conduct voltage and its feed from main device and when you connect another it send it ground you have to do this chech with a voltmeter in the hdmi splitter output is not dc present if so change it cause is not blocking dc current saludos
Well,i can tell you are not very focus, cause you posted Denon AVR-2807 with Bose AC 15 problem, but under your details, you put down AVR-5807! First of all,it is so unfortunate that you are NOT able to gain and experience to true ability in sound for this wonderful receiver when you are using a dual tweeters speakers and expect to have good sound separation as a TWO WAY speakers(a tweeter and a midrange-for true high frequency and mid frequency sound separation.) Secondly, you have defeated the audio configuration of the Denon AVR-2807,since all your speakers are control BY the Bose subwoofer. Now,i could show you a way to hook this up,and it doesn't matter how you connect them, they are the "bicycle tires" installed with a "Porche"engine if you know what i mean. If you want a good recommendation for your "beast",i will more than happy to show you the way! Cheers, solutiondoct
Finally the problem was with the HDMI cable. When I pushed it in on the TV set the problem disappeared. It seems the connections must be quite firm on the HDMI cables otherwise anything may interfere to the sound.
