A possible solution is to use Vuescan, a scanning program which supports many scanners and is usually better than the software supplied by manufacturers. A demo which overprints scans with a watermark is free, the unrestricted program US$40. I use it with an e50 under Windows XP, can't guarantee it'll work with Vista but would be optimistic. http://www.hamrick.com/ You can use Vuescan with most other scanners for no extra cost.

Describe your agfa avantra 25 Vertical lines on developed film The spinner motor has been acting up so I'm wondering if the problems are related. We had agfa take a look at it a while back and I think they replaced a contact to that motor but I think they used the wrong size so the contact is not reliable. So I'll jiggle the contact and the motor comes back on but now I have vertical lines on the film instead of the art I'm trying to image.
