That doesn't sound good... make sure the wires have good connection to the battery terminals. If its not that then your gonna need a new starter...

The click you are hearing under the seat is the solenoid. Most likely it is bad. Luckily it is a very easy and cheap fix. You can always use the "shade tree" test to make sure. Turn the key on, lock the parking brake with the unit out of gear and use a screwdriver to jump from oe pole on the solenoid to the other. If it starts, the solenoid is bad.

Replaces battery and spark plugs in my huskee lawn tractor it cranks over but won't fire has full tank of gas and battery is charged what could be the problem?

No spark? Check out ignition coil. Make sure the fuel is turned on if you have an on line hose switch for that.

Bought new huskee 4200 last july, only been used a couple of time. tried to start it today and it turn over just will not start.is.th what wrong to new to be doin

My guess is you need some fresh gas. Also, I'm surprised the battery isn't dead. Lawn tractors aren't meant to be used "a couple of times" in 10 months. Empty the gas tank and fill it up with new high test gas. It wouldn't hurt to add a capful of carbuetor cleaner and to replace the fuel filter. If you run the battery down trying to start it, jump it with a car if you can get that close to it. As for everything in your post after "start", it might as well be Japanese or Icelandic!

Huskee Riding Mower wont start

Try rotating the engine manually to check for any binding. I would also check the amp draw on the starter.

I have not used my lawn tractor for a long time. now it just CLICKS when I try to start it.

battery does not have enough charge to spin the starter, you might be able to charge it up. try jump starting from a car battery then mow your whole lawn without stopping. if it restarts after that you are good to go, if not go to walmart and spend 25 bucks on a new battery. replace the gas first.

My huskee lawn tractor will not turn over! The battery is fully charged, it is a 25hp with a 50inch cut, i replaced the selnoid last year!

The arm that engages the cutting blade tends to wiggle. Make sure it is pulled toward you (unengaged) before trying to start.

Hi. I have a huskee 15.5 riding mower that wont start. It was running. I replaced the front drive belt and now it wont start. I have replaced the battery, air filter, and spark plug. it turns over fine...

fri-st is to check your spark, than your going need to check for compression, than go to carburetor, when you replaced your belt you may have disconnected a safety wire. try this frist let me know

Huskee 25 hp lawn tractor with briggs & stratton motor wont start

Most all manufacturers have the Users Manuel available on line you will need the Make and Model to pick the correct one. Have you replaced the battery. It can show the correct voltage but have no cranking amps. I believe if the solenoid is trying to engage the Dead Man switches are closed. With the starter disconnected from all power sources do the teeth on the starter turn or are they locked up? If they refuse to move do you have an Auto Zone around or another parts store or electrical engine repair store that can test the starter. Make sure the mowing deck is not engaged while you are trying to start the engine. I hope these rudimentary suggestions help.
