My hunter ceiling fan works by remote . My remote fell And the batteries fell out, now my ceiling fan won't turn on the lights or the fan. It won't even work if I pull on the chains

I always look for the simplest answer first.
This MAY be the problem: you reinserted one or more of the batteries with the wrong orientation. Typically, they will connect in series to produce a higher voltage than a single battery by itself.
For example, an AA battery puts out about 1.5 Volts, and two AA's in series would produce about 3 Volts, with the positive of one battery connecting to the negative end of the other; the negative of the first and the positive of the second connect to the remote's terminals. The connection between the two batteries is usually in the battery holder in the remote, and the batteries will be physically oriented in opposite directions. For example:batts-g3g4rd04a0x5u31qpoveqzom-1-0.gif
Of course, something inside the remote may have broken instead, but double-check the battery connections first.

I have misplaced my manual. I have a Samsung Moisture Sensor dryer. the power works but the it wont tumble. Model #DV400EWHDWR/AA SERIAL # Y6915AEFB00979F. PLEASE HELP.

Samsung has the manual and a trouble-shooting guide on the product support page: . The direct link to the manual is currently .

Usually if the drum won't tumble, the problem is with the belt, the drum rollers, bearings or shaft that the connect the drum to the motor or the motor.

Can you turn the drum by hand easily? Then look closely at the belt. Replace it if it is damaged. If the drum won't turn, disconnect the belt and check if the drum turns. If it doesn't, check the drum support rollers for wear. Replace all of the support bearings at once if any are faulty. Check the support rollers and shaft at the back of the drum for damage. If you hear a lot of noise as you turn the drum, then the bearings are possibly bad. Check that the plastic slides that stabilize the front of the drum are fine.

Finally check the motor. Replace this if it is faulty. To see a parts diagram and price lists for any parts, see . Other sites also have the parts for the dryer.

I hope this helps.

Where do i find the orafice on aa 1997 GMC Suburban with rear air. Also, I am replacing the compressor and accumulatro. Instructions say to add oil to the accumlator low side. How do i determine the low...

The orifice tube is located on the passenger side below the air filter housing between the connector and the condenser line. Break open connection and use a place of needle nose to gently twist it out of the tubing or used could use the proper tool if available. lol
Follow the line back to the compressor from the accumulator/ dryer and that will you which is the low side. Not that you should find a high side connection on the dryer.

No heat and No blowing

Clogged lint filter, exhaust vent or outlet would reduce air flow but there would be some heating unless a high limit safety switch has tripped and needs to be reset.  There may be aa air flow switch that prevents the element from heating up if no air is flowing.  Blower wheel may have broken off at connection to motor shaft.

Dryer worked till I opened the door, light still comes on inside, but will not turn on!!!

First of all if you have aa ohm meter you may want to cheak your double 30 amp house breaker. If not that you may have a faulty door switch and stuck on close postion. If not your switch there is a fuse located on the heater housing behind the drum it is a small thermostat with 2 small brwon wires going to it.That may be shot.Try to bypass it and run dryer.Be carfull hope that helped any more to know on how to do these steps let me know hope i helped:)
