The brass plate shown in the box must be free to move up and down about 1/8". Here it is in the down position pressing against the pod to make a seal. If yours is stuck in the up position, the water will go over, rather than through the pod; and drip into the tray. Access is easy. Remove the top. Then take out the 2 phillips screws behind the door which hold the front panel with door and lights. Gently lift the panel up and out of the way. Run the machine to see if this is your problem. If so, free-up the plate by using a screwdriver to pry it down, and a piece of wood to push it up. Repeat this several times.
