After i install and download the new adobe flash player I still can't get into any of my programs it is still telling me to download and install the flash player what can i do

LOL also make sure you download the CORRECT version not just the first link you are given !!!

There are a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version please take the time to get the correct one !

To check your version GOTo control panel, system,
Look around the middle of the screen and it should tell you which you need as indicated by
System type 64-bit Operating system
OR
System Type 32- bit Operating system

SAVE it to your computer DONT run it from the web as this can on occasion cause issues with installations.
Once saved DO REMOVE older versions before installing any other versions
and DO a shut down / restart of your computer before going on to install.

Your BROWSER type is also an important factor.
The OS (operating system) is another factor too !
There are different versions for different OS so make sure you get the version that matches your OS

Note that this is a COMPLETE answer not a half baked one as provided prev.

My widows is VISTA. I am trying to download ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 10. But it is not working now. So, tell me how i can download it. Shihab

Hi.
Here is what I found on the network regarding your problem.
It might help you.

Here's the scenario: you download the latest and greatest version of the Adobe Flash Player. After it finishes installing, you go to a site featuring Flash content and are greeted with a message notifying you that you need to install Flash Player, but didn't you just do that? To properly update your Flash Player, you need to run the installation as Administrator. Follow these steps to properly install Adobe Flash Player:
For Vista (32 bit):
1. Open Computer.
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\.
3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.
4. Open the Flash directory.
5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.
6. Select Run as Administrator.
7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.
8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.
For Vista (64 bit):
1. Open Computer.
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.
3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.
4. Open the Flash directory.
5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.
6. Select Run as Administrator.
7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.
8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.
Once the wizard completes, Flash Player has been properly installed and will now function properly.

I play a game on facebook, and every time I go into the game, a screen says my plugin has crashed. What do I do to fix it?

Depend on your OS. If is Windows IE, some issues has found on this.

Try this :
our version of Windows is either a 32-bit operating system or a 64-bit operating system. A 64-bit operating system can run both 32-bit applications and 64-bit applications.Your browser, such as Internet Explorer, is either a 32-bit application or a 64-bit application. Flash Player works only with a browser that is a 32-bit application. On a 32-bit operating system, your browser is always a 32-bit application. However, on a 64-bit operating system, your browser is either a 32-bit application or a 64-bit application. Make sure you are using a 32-bit browser by following these instructions:

Windows with Internet Explorer
To make sure you are using a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
  1. In Internet Explorer's Help menu, select Help > About Internet Explorer. (In some versions of Internet Explorer, select the question mark in the upper right corner to select About Internet Explorer).

    ieversion2.gif
  2. If you do not see the words "64-bit Edition" next to the version number, you are running a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer. Continue to Determine the Flash Player version you installed, if any.
  3. If you do see the words "64-bit Edition", go to Flash Player on 64-bit operating systems (TechNote 6b3af6c9) to continue troubleshooting your Flash Player installation.
Windows with other browsers, such as Firefox, Google Chrome, or Opera
No official 64-bit version of these browsers is currently available on 64-bit Windows operating systems. Therefore, unless you are using a test version of a browser (not typical), your browser is a 32-bit application, and therefore, works with Flash Player. Continue to Determine the Flash Player version you installed, if any.

2. Determine the Flash Player version you installed, if any

Before you troubleshoot Flash Player installation, determine the version of Flash Player you have installed, if any. You can see if it is working and whether it is the latest version available for your operating system. Follow these steps:
  1. Go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about. If you have already successfully installed Flash Player, the page displays the Adobe Flash Player version as shown in the following image:
    flasht23.jpg
Note: The version number in this example might be different than the version you have installed.

If you have not successfully installed Flash Player, you will not see the image.
  1. The same page http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about has a table that shows the latest Flash Player version available for your operating system (for example, Windows or Macintosh) and your browser (for example, Internet Explorer or Firefox). If the version information shown in step 1 does not match the latest version shown in the table, upgrade to the latest version. To upgrade, continue to Uninstall previous versions of Flash Player.
Note:Internet Explorer uses a different Flash Player than other browsers such as Firefox or Google Chrome. Therefore, if you sometimes use Internet Explorer and sometimes use another browser, you might have installed a different version of Flash Player for Internet Explorer than for other browsers.

3. Uninstall previous versions of Flash Player

Before you install Flash Player for any Windows browser, uninstall all previous Flash Player versions and restart your computer. Follow these steps:
  1. Uninstall all previous Flash Player versions and restart your computer. For Flash Player uninstall instructions, see Uninstall Flash Player (TechNote tn_14157).
  2. Restart your computer after uninstalling.
  3. If you are using Internet Explorer, continue to Verify Internet Explorer security and ActiveX settings. Otherwise, continue to Download and install Adobe Flash Player.

red-line-23.png
4. Verify Internet Explorer security and ActiveX settings (skip for other browsers)

Make sure that Internet Explorer security default level is set to Medium. This level allows viewing ActiveX controls, such as Flash Player. To set browser security to Medium, perform the following steps:
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
  3. Select the Security tab.
  4. Select Trusted Sites zone.
  5. Select the Default Level button. (If the Default Level button is dimmed, continue to the next step).
  6. Move the slider until the security level is Medium.
  7. Select Apply.
  8. Select the Internet zone.
  9. Repeat steps 5 - 7. When done, select OK.

I have a windows 7 64 bit version. I cannot install adobe flash player. can i install a32 bit version to accomodate adobe flash player, if so how?

There isn't a 64-bit version of Flash Player (at least not yet).
While IE8 64-bit is your default browser, Flash content should open in IE8 32-bit.

Says adobe flash player wont run on a 64 bit system, since having new laptop with windows 7, keeps saying adobe flash player cannot operate on a 64 bit system, so wont load zynga poker

Flash does work on Windows 7 64 bit, it just runs in 32 bit mode. Try using a 32bit version of the browser you use and installing flash there. Also make sure you are installing the latest version of the authentic adobe flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I need to change the settings on my computer from 32 bit to 64 bit so I can install Adobe Flash Player to play video clips in Real Player. What is the best & easiest way to do this?

Friend,
It is not the settings that change Windows from 32 to 64 bits. It is the Windows Operating System and the PC/laptop that too has to be 32 or 64 bits. You can install 32 bits Adobe Player from the net.

I can't download adobe flash player, I think it has something to do with my flash card witch is not working either I downloaded various things from toshiba site BIOS, Utilities, and a flash card compatible...

If you have problems installing Adobe Flash Player, follow the troubleshooting steps below. If one step does not correct the problem, move on to the next step. After each step, you may want to restart your machine to ensure that your changes take effect before moving on to the next step.

Uninstall all previous versions
Before you install Flash Player for any Windows browser, uninstall all previous versions. For instructions on removing the player, please see "How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control"
at this link...
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Note:All applications must be closed before you run the Flash Player uninstaller. Quit all running applications, including all Internet Explorer or other browser windows, and all Instant Messenger clients. Check the Windows system tray carefully to make certain no applications which might possibly use Flash Player are still in memory.

After you have removed previous versions, you are ready to download and/or install Flash Player.
2. Download Adobe Flash Player Flash Player is available for download from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.
3. Troubleshoot Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer Before installing Flash Player, please check the following browser settings:
Internet Explorer ActiveX settings Browser security settings should be chosen by you or by your system administrator. For single users who do not have an administrator, the Medium: Default Level allows you to view Flash content. For any Custom Level, ensure that both the "Download Signed ActiveX controls" and "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" options are set to "Prompt".

To change your security level:
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
  3. Select the Security tab.
  4. Select Custom Level.
  5. Find the section "ActiveX controls and plug-ins".
  6. Set ' Download Signed ActiveX Controls' to Prompt.
  7. Set 'Run ActiveX Controls And Plug-ins' to Prompt.
If you are having trouble installing, make sure that your Internet Explorer security level is not set to High or to a custom level that does not allow viewing of ActiveX controls.
Windows Vista installation failure On some Windows Vista systems Flash Player may be installed, but will not display Flash content. In some cases updating to the latest Flash Player using the included utility can correct the User Account Control settings that cause this problem.
To run the utility, find your installed Flash folder:
  • Right-click C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil9d.exe
The letter changes with each Flash version, so may be "FlashUtilb.exe" or "FlashUtile.exe"
  • Select "Run as Administrator"
  • Follow the steps to complete the Flash Player installation
  • Restart your computer
Computer user permissions User permissions determine whether or not you are allowed to install ActiveX controls or plug-ins. If you don't have Administrator access to Windows NT, 2000, XP, or Vista you may not be able to install Flash Player successfully. Administrative privileges are required for the Windows system registry and for the C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash folder.
